For first-time users and those with more advanced computer knowledge, Railway Herald has provided a series of easy to understand, simple to follow, step-by-step guides to guide you through the site basics.

The guides are available from the panel opposite, in Adobe PDF format. To download any or all of them, simply click on the cover. You are welcome to save the guide to your own computer, print one or more copies off, or email it to friends/family if they need help with using the website.

The Step-by-Step guides should answer the basic questions that most people are likely to ask and better than simple instructions, each one provides screen views so you can quickly and easily follow the steps through and know what to expect from the screen. In addition to provide a 'How To' style instruction, the PDF will also provide guidance and suggestions on what should be entered at any prompts and also, what to do if something doesn't work or goes wrong.
