Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66545 is pictured passing through Castle Gresley, Derbyshire on 27th September 2012 with a new working 6D78, 0703 Willesden Euro Terminal to Bardon Hill Quarry. The train, traversing the very lightly-used freight-only route between Burton-on-Trent and Leicester, is comprised of a rake of empty aggregates-carrying wagons that will be loaded at the Leicestershire quarry before returning to London later in the day. It is understood this was the first day of operation and was running well behind schedule due to an enforced reversal at Burton-on-Trent as a result of a points problem at Branston Junction.
