An immaculate BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No. 92214 'Cock o' The North', making its first Gala appearance after its recently completed 'fast-track' 10 year boiler overhaul, continues to power up the 1 in 49 Esk Valley Gradient while hauling the first Service of the day from Grosmont to Pickering, during the NYMR 40th Anniversary Autumn Steam Gala on 27th September 2013. The original timetable for this loco to bank behind LNER Pacific Class A4 Pacific Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, went by the board due to the failure of LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 Black Five No. 45428 Eric Treacy.
