Locomotive services Class 47/4 No. 47614 (47853) heads south through Moreton on Lugg with the Saphos Trains Birmingham International to Shrewsbury 'Welsh Marches Express' return working on 10th August 2022. The outward service was hauled by Class 37/5 No. 37521 piloting SR West Country Pacific No. 34046 Braunton with Class 47/4 No. 47614 on the rear, but due to the extreme heat, the Class 47 took the return working alone to Bristol Temple Meads where it was teamed up with 47828 for the return to Birmingham International. The Class 37 and 'Braunton' returned directly back to Crewe from Shrewsbury.
