Class 59/2 No. 59205 is disappearing round the curve at Hungerford with the late afternoon Wembley Sidings to Merehead Quarry empties on 22nd September 2022. This working is again composed of two sections with Class 66/5 No. 66569 heading the latter. For good measure GWR IET No. 800034 is about to burst onto the busy scene with a recently introduced stopping express for Paddington. Through workings have resumed after the lengthy repair of damaged OLE west of London which had disrupted travel to the late Queen's State Funeral earlier in the week.
