Ahead of a planned three week closure of Whiteball Tunnel, driver route training continues on the former LSWR main line. At Honiton, on Wednesday 24th January 2019, DB Cargo UK Class 66/0 No. 66107 waits for the road running as the 11:34 Exeter Riverside Yard to Westbury 'Down' TC. It is captured sitting out a booked pathing stop to allow the South Western Railway 09:20 service from London Waterloo to Exeter St.Davids to clear the single line section from/to Axminster. In normal circumstances this composition would not be possible as the Exeter bound service would usually be worked by a pair of Class 159 DMUs where as on this occasion the consist was made up of a Class 159 and a Class 158 resulting in a shorter five coach consist. The sixth and rear coach of two Class 159's would completely obscure the Class 66 .
