Still fitted with its 'Valenta' power unit, National Express East Coast HST Class 43 powercar No. 43056 speeds north eastwards out of Water Orton with a Cross Country working. This set is still in the interim livery of the original GNER livery with the addition of National Express branding and a white bodyside 'stripe' ilo the GNER red stripe. This working is made up of the full East Coast nine-car set. No. 43056 previously worked on the Midland Mainline and was based at Leeds, during this time it carried the name 'University of Bradford' - this plate was removed when it was re-painted in the original Midland Mainline tourqouise livery from Intercity.
