Articulated Diesel-electric locomotive in Latvian Railway Museum, Riga. According to the caption it was one of over 13,000 such locos built for the Soviet railways from 1953-1973. This one was built in Lugansk, Ukraine in 1972 and based at Daugavpils depot in modern Latvia. Latvian Railways (LDZ) withdrew the loco in 1994.
