Narrow gauge in North Yorkshire in September 2009. Unfortunately a now defunct railway system, this view is of the narrow gauge (2 ft?) lines of the former BR nursery at Poppleton near York, which supplied plants for many stations around the network. Managed by Jarvis following privatisation, it was sadly closed down some years ago, however, part of the site has now become a local community project.
