The crew of Ex LNER Class A3 No. 4472 'Flying Scotsman' examine their loco during a pause at Lincoln Central on 21st June 1969. The train was returning to Doncaster after a visit to Cleethorpes and was routed via Retford, Rotherham Central, Mexborough, Barnsley, Penistone, Huddersfield and Wakefield Kirkgate.
