A charter train which originated in Birmingham returns via the Woodhead route hauled by class 76's No. 76021 & 76013, pausing at Wadsley Bridge, west of Sheffield. The station closed to regular scheduled services on 15 June 1959, although was used for occasional excursions and for football specials for matches at the nearby Hillsborough stadium.
