Class 52 No. 1041 Western Prince, having brought in the 09:10 Falmouth - Paddington, stands waiting its next working at Plymouth on 18th September 1976. Despite its poor external condition it lasted almost until the end of the class 52s, being withdrawn from BR service in February 1977.
