Colas Class 47 No. 47739 Robin of Templecombe sits in Kronospan yard as the loaded KFA wagons are unloaded at 01.00 on August 14 This was a trial working from Ribblehead to Chirk, and the first visit of a Class 47 to the plant. Exposure was 1600ISO, F5 1.6sec. A compromise to obtain a decent exposure without too much digital noise and retaining optimum lens quality! (It was pitch black apart from loco lights and moving vehicles!) Despite the slow shutter, the grab removing the logs from the wagon wasn't swinging, so looks quite sharp!.
