In a newly applied coat of EWS livery with the then new 'EWS' branding as opposed to the original 'EW&S', Class 60 No. 60043 coasts downgrade through Greenholme on the West Coast Main Line with a rake of four-wheel oil tanks, on 1st April 1997. No. 60043 previously carried the unusual name of 'Yes Tor' which was removed when it was repainted into EWS livery. No. 60043 was removed from operation and stored at Crewe in December 2008.
