Every picture tells a story so the saying goes,Here is Class No. 33051 on coal empties having just left Ridham Dock sidings, only to be flagged down and stopped by a P Way gang, it appears a broken fish plate had caused the rail end to drop by6 inches, and our train could not move until the track was packed and a new fish plate found and fitted, all of which took about 20 minutes on the 12th December 1974.
