On 10th December 2011 SNCF Class No. 15020 waits to head north from Strasbourg, where it has been allocated for the last 37 years, for the last time with the afternoon Zurich - Brussels service bringing to an end nearly 40 years of Class 15000 traction in eastern France. The TGV arriving on the adjoining platform will soon be making a 550 mile dash to the west with the 17:52 Strasbourg - Nantes.
