Bristol Temple Meads has had a long association with H.S.T's ever since services began during the mid 1970's. The station has withnessed the H.S.T's wearing many liveries over the 30 plus years, commencing with the much loved B.R blue/grey livery. Here, making a very rare appearance at Bristol is 'East Midlands Trains' power car, No. 43052 which is seen at the helm of 1S51 12:30 Plymoutgh-Glasgow H.S.T service making its scheduled stop on 25th January 2012.
