The present temporary terminus of Metrolink South Manchester line is at St Werburgh's Road but opens shortly to the permanent terminus at East Didsbury and utilises the former Midland Mainline formation from Manchester Cen. to Derby southwards from adjacent to the Trafford Bar stop. The route south from St Werburgh's Road is evident as Tram 3011 heads away from the temporary terminus to reverse over the crossover ahead before returning on a Victoria service on 3rd February 2012
