Normally routed over the Settle and Carlisle line, Class 66 No. 66850 is seen heading down the WCML at Penrith with the late running 6J37 Carlisle Yard - Chirk on Thursday the 3rd May 2012. Problems with the loco resulted in it being around 2 and 3/4 hours late departing Carlisle yard and was routed this way to try and claw back some lost time.
