During the railway's grand re-opening weekend the steam set utilised Mk 2A and Mk 1 coaching stock while the diesel operation saw the use of 3CIG Electric Multiple Unit No. 1498. The unit was one of the last two to see mainline operator use, coming off Lymington Branch duties almost 2 years ago to the day. Class 37 No. D6729 is seen at North Weald with the set having just arrived from Coopersale.
