In the last dying embers of what had been the hottest day of the year so far, Freightliner Class 66/5, No. 66532 'P&O Nedlloyd Atlas', heads into the setting sun across the Hundred Foot Washes, near Manea in Cambridgeshire, with the late running 4E50 Felixstowe to Leeds container service on Tuesday 24th July 2012. The time was 20:38, and the photographer still faced a three mile walk back to his car in this remote part of Fenland.
