On a very foggy autumn day, the sun manages to break through catching the boiler of LMS 'Royal Scot' No. 6115 'Scots Guardsman' as she passes Church Fenton signal box on 11th November 1978. The train was the 'Yorkshire Venturer', operated on behalf of the 6000 Loco Association, originating in Cardiff and worked by the steam locomotive from Guide Bridge to York.
