Class 50 Nos. 50017 Royal Oak in Network South East livery, and 50031 Hood in Large Logo blue livery, wait departure from Exeter St. Davids to Waterloo on a regular NSE working on 22nd June 1991, just weeks before both locos were withdrawn from main line use. No. 50017 is preserved in an earlier NSE livery and works at the Plym Valley Railway in 2012, and No. 50031 (still in the livery seen) has been a regular worker at the Severn Valley Railway.
