The Great Central Railway's 'Swithland Steam Gala' saw the sidings opened to the public for the first time, with shuttle buses running throughout the day, from Quorn and Woodhouse Station. Seen here on 28th April 2013, first time visitor to the railway LNWR Webb Coal Tank 0-6-2T No. 1054 passes the recently commissioned signal box to pick up its train, under the watchful eye of a number of enthusiasts.
