With a Birthday Special Charter heading out to cover most of East Anglia, working from King's Lynn through Ely, Norwich, Lowestoft, Ipswich, Stowmarket, Ely and King's Lynn, it was inevitable that some element of tender first running would occur. Seen here at Prickwillow in Cambridgeshire, LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 45699 'Galatea' had reversed at Ely for the leg to Norwich, where it would subsequently be turned. Laid on for Mr Nigel Dobbing of RTC, the locomotive is working the initial leg of 1Z45 08:49 King's Lynn to Norwich Crown Point T.&R.S.M.D, on 19th May 2013.
