Class 70 No. 70008 is pictured at speed approaching Wichnor Junction, Staffordshire on Thursday 30th May 2013 powering train 4O55, 12:12 Leeds FLT to Southampton MCT intermodal. It is understood this May have been the first occasion that a Class 70 locomotive has been allocated to provide the motive power for a Leeds to Southampton intermodal service as the usual power for these trains is normally a Freightliner Class 66.
