London Underground former Acton Works Shunter No. L11 stands on an isolated piece of track beside Epping station on 7th June 2013. This vehicle was built in 1964 from two 1931 Standard Stock vehicles (Nos. 3080 and 3109), with the vehicles having some of their passenger compartments cut off and the two cabs and control sections were joined back to back. The resulting locomotive saw use until the early 1990s and has been on display at Epping since preservation in 2004.
