The cab of green-liveried Class 37/4 No. D6990 (No 37411) is seen on display in the car park of the Alexandra Hotel in Derby on 10th July 2013. The landlord has purchased the cab and it will be restored in due course. The 47-year-old English Electric Type 3 entered BR service in 1965 and was withdrawn during February 2013, being cut-up at Booth's scrapyard at Rotherham in May 2013 from where the cab was saved from the cutter's torch and later transported to its new home in Derby the following month.
