On 14th September No. 60163 'Tornado' headed 'The Cathedrals Express' from London Euston to Worcester via Kidderminster, stopping off at the Kidderminster main line station to decant passengers off for the Severn Valley. The return working is seen here speeding along the main line from Worcester in a photograph that was very much taken by chance from the window of a late running 1635 from Bridgnorth, which was just under 15 minutes late as it arrived into Kidderminster. This coincided with the arrival on the main line of 'Tornado' heading 184F the 1734 Worcester to London Euston into Kidderminster. Tornado by chance was running slightly early, arriving around 4 minutes ahead of its booked time. It makes a fine sight.
