Lambton, Hetton & Joicey Collieries Tank 0-6-2T No. 29 continues to put on the power to haul the 11:30 service from Grosmont to Pickering up the challenging 1 in 49 Esk Valley Gradient, while being banked by BR Class 24 No. D5061, during the NYMR 40th Anniversary Autumn Steam Gala on Friday 27th September 2013. This unscheduled loco combination was called upon at the last minute due to the failure of LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 Black Five No. 45428 Eric Treacy.
