Class 47/7 No. 47714 at East Suffolk Jct at Ipswich on 29th August 2002 about to pick up an Anglia set from the yard. New to traffic as D1955 on 29th November 1966 to LMWL, London Midland Western Lines and under TOPS it became 47511 in March 1974 before conversion to 47/7 on 6th March 1985. The duff was withdrawn on 21st August 1996 then sold to Cotswold Rail in December 2001 and hired to Anglia Railways as a Thunderbird from 8th June 2002. The 47 is now owned by Harry Needle and at Bombardier Transportation, Old Dalby.
