Class 45/1 No. 45118 arrives at Chester on a dull 26th February 1987 with the 08:20 Newcastle - Bangor. New to Derby (17A) on 3rd May 1962 as No D47, it was withdrawn on 8th May 1987 and stored at March. The Peak was sold for preservation in May 1990 to the Northampton Steam Railway and moved to Pitsford on 16th September 1990.
