Ex NSR Class L 0-6-2T No. 2 was stored out of the public gaze for several years on the Shugborough Estate and was subsequently moved to the Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum site near to Burslem in North Staffordshire. Unfortunately the museum closed and No. 2 as part of the National Collection now resides at NRM Shildon. On an unrecorded date it leaves Shugborough bound for Chatterley Whitfield.
