GWR 2-2-2 Broad Gauge Tender Locomotive (Replica) Fire Fly stands at the Didcot Railway Centre on 4th May 2014. Designed by the GWR's first locomotive superintendent, Daniel Gooch in 1840, it's hard now to imagine these beasts working the line between London and Bristol for thirty years.
