On 28th May 2014 South-West Trains Class 450/0 No. 450107 stops at Platform 2 at Eastleigh, en-route from London Waterloo to Poole, due to depart at 13:00. This week is the schools' half-term and South-West Trains has a day-returns promotion, which offers adult tickets for £14 and child tickets for £5, between any two stations on its network; this appears to have been quite popular and probably contributed to the crowding on the platform and in the train.
