On 7th September 2014, Bulleid Battle of Britain Class No. 34070 'Manston' crosses Corfe Common with the return leg of the 'Dorsetman' dining train, back to Swanage. Unlike ordinary service trains, which are usually steaming hard to climb the gradient at this point, the dining train proceeds more sedately!
