Work has just started on replacing the 1875 built Scarborough Bridge over the River Ouse at York with the pleasure boat River Palace having turned around short of bridge as river traffic not allowed under bridge while work in progress. The crane to take old bridge out and replacement in can be seen in Marygate car park behind houses Saturday 14th February 2015.
