GB Railfreight Class 66/7 No. 66738 Huddersfield Town can just be glimpsed at Poole on 7th March 2015 with a train of new track panels as the down line through the station is being replaced. In front of it on the up line (which was replaced the previous weekend), the Gigarailer is lowering a section of track into position. Behind is Poole signal box which was closed in May 2014 on completion of a re-signalling scheme, which sees the line now controlled from Basingstoke. The signal box was eventually demolished in January 2016.
