Bauxite class 0-4-0 industrial saddle tank built 1874 by Black Hawthorn & Co Ltd Gateshead used as a factory shunter for the International Aluminium Co Ltd saved from the scrapman conserved not restored,(Note Aluminium is extracted from Bauxite rock) Also conserved is Eastern Counties First Class Saloon built 1851, retired in 1892, spent the second world war as a fire watchers sleeping quarters, 1959 taken into the National collection, both seen here at the NRM York on 30th June 2015
