'Built in 1886, Canadian Pacific Railway 4-4-0 No. 374 stands at Yaletown Roundhouse, Davie Street, Vancouver on 15th June 2015. This locomotive worked Canada's first transcontinental train into Vancouver on 23rd May 1887 and remained in service until July 1945, when it was retired and donated to the City of Vancouver who placed it on a section of track at Kitsilano Beach where it remained for 38 years, becoming the victim of rust and vandalism. It was subsequently restored to its present condition in 1985.
