DB Schenker operated, EWS-liveried Class 66/0 No. 66136 stands at Hellifield Station working the 07:00 Carlisle N.Y. to Blackburn Bolton Junction service, comprising loaded ballast bogies, on 11th August 2015. Built in 1888, renovated in 1994 by the Railway Heritage Trust and again in 2013 by Network Rail, Hellifield station is a such a magnificent example of Midland Railway architecture featuring a two storey stone station building and a large glass canopy supported by decorative iron columns, that it was designated as a Grade II listed building in April 1977.
