English Electric Type 4 Class 40 No. 40033 and Class 08 No. 08675 in sidings adjacent to the station on 2nd October 1982. The Type 4 has the name "Empress of England" painted on its side. No. 40033 was withdrawn in August 1984 before being cut up at Doncaster in March 1985.
