Visiting from The Llangollen Railway, Collett 0-6-0PT No. 6430 is pictured at Cholsey on 23rd July 2016. New from Swindon Works in March 1937, the locomotive worked until 1964. Withdrawn from Yeovil Town shed (72C) she was sold for scrap to John Cashmore Ltd. and almost immediately re-sold to The Dart Valley Railway as a source of spare parts. What remained of the locomotive was purchased by The Llangollen Railway in 1990 and, following extensive restoration, she finally ran again in 2004. A 10-year overhaul was completed in 2015 which sees the engine in it's present condition.
