Guest narrow-gauge 0-4-0ST Locomotive 'Britomart' (Works No. 707) was built by Hunslet of Leeds in 1899 for Pen-yr-Orsedd quarry. It was bought by the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in 1965 and has been there ever since. Using a specially laid temporary track, the loco had the honour of being the first steam locomotive ever to travel through the 184 years old George Stephenson 'Foot Tunnel' which connects Grosmont Village to the NYMR Motive Power Depot, see at the latter location on 1st October 2016.
