One of the last passenger services captured on what is now a totally overgrown lifted and disused piece of railway that between Goose Hill Jct, Normanton, and this location at Oakenshaw North once part of the Midland Main Line from Leeds to Sheffield.On the 12th April 1987 a footex from Leeds to Wadsley Bridge in connection with an FA Cup semi final passes behind Class 47 No. 47425 and a 10 coach Mark 1 rake.
