The ECML was again closed between Newcastle & Berwick-upon-Tweed on 25th September 2021, necessitating LNER Services to be diverted along the Tyne Valley between Newcastle Central and Carlisle. Here, Five-Coach LNER 'AZUMA' Bi-Mode Class 800/2 No. 800204 + Class 801/1 No. 801104 pass Wylam Station's Grade II listed two-storey stationmaster's house built in 1835, its nineteenth century footbridge and approach its 1897 overtrack gantry Signalbox, working the 10:30 London King's Cross to Edinburgh Service.
