Colas class 37 no. 37116 crosses the River Kent estuary at Arnside on 15 October 2021 with the 09.30 Carnforth Down Sidings - Carlisle Network Rail Infrastructure Monitoring train. Running 70 minutes late at this point the routing was via the Cumbrian Coast line as far as Sellafield, then return to Carnforth and reversal, then WCML to Carlisle. The train is traversing the magnificent 51 span Arnside Viaduct, built in 1856.
