The SVR has painted No. 34027 'Taw Valley' into a purple livery and renumbered it No. 70 as a celebration of the 70th anniversary of HM The Queen ascending to The Throne. The locomotive is due to be named 'Elizabeth II' on 2nd June. The livery does look more like lilac than purple, earning the locomotive the nickname 'Lilac Liz'.
