The northern terminus of the Rhodope Valley narrow gauge line can be found at Septemvri, an interchange station with the BDZ (Bulgarian State run Railway) Sofia to Plovdiv main line. A somewhat bland location compared to the majority of the valley line, a location that also houses the maintenance facilities for the Class 75 and Class 77 diesel locomotives that work the torturous route south. Henschel B-B Class 75005 waits time at Septemvri with service Ord 16105 (13:20) departure to Dobrinishte on 16th June 2016.
