The Commonwealth Games has brought crowds of sightseers into Birmingham City Centre. The West Midlands Metro was up and running through the City Centre to Edgbaston Village in time for the Games. on 5th August 2022, a stream of passengers can be seen leaving tram No. 42 at the Library stop in Broad Street, with most of them heading over the road to Centenary Square and the 'Raging Bull'.
